happy easter ho-lu-day!

YAAAAHAAAAA!! Finally term break has arrived and busy assignment period has come to an end. “Finally” might not be the right word, the semester has not finish. Anyways, I longed for a holiday! YAY! Heaps of anime waiting for me ;A; *dancing around*

The holiday is going to be full of awesomeness! :D

plushies making

Not a very truthful title this time, it was not exactly plushie that I was making. But I can’t find a better phrase to describe this amazing output of mine during the summer holiday – A TOTALLY HANDMADE MASSIVE BIRTHDAY CAKE LOOKING ASSECCORY BOX.

I promised to make plushies, yeah I did. Just that I’m a practical person who prefers producing cute and useful items, like boxes, bags, card holders and etc. As for plushies, it doesn’t carry any practical use at all (except hugging it) so I may possibly make it, I don’t know XD

This cute massive box took me a month to complete, I made it for my sister’s birthday because she is my amazing cake maker. I just love all the cakes she makes, so I stitched this “cake” using cloth and cardboard paper. Making it looks difficult but honestly, it wasn’t. However, it was indeed VERY TIME CONSUMING. I thought I could finish it in, say, a week. Then I realised the strawberries are troublesome to make! Sewing “Happy Birthday” took me 2 nights though.

Although I can’t help complaining how frustrated I was in sewing, the satisfaction from having the final product done it was worthless. Sister was really happy and liked this gift very much. I’m glad that she uses it to store her accessories and places it on her desk. Now I’m really motivated to sew more :DDDD

Happy April Fool!

Although it is April Fool today, nothing related to it has happened, eh, at all. Kay, I wasn’t surprised because I was extremely nervous in MHS doing performances, or in fact someone has played pranks on me without me knowing. We will see :)

It was my first time going to a high school in Melbourne, honestly, I was quite stunned by all the vintage looking blocks surrounded by modern high-rise buildings. Everything is classy and beautiful, May likes it. However, it is a boy’s school, so no hope studying there, neither I am youthful enough to redo high school, ouch. As for the performance, a bit screwed, brain always shuts down in front of crowd, or the audience, body ended up not controlled. Crap, I won’t let this happen again! ;w:

After that, I planned to go home and do housework but suddenly I remembered that my watch was out of battery for a month. Relying on phone as a watch was not convenient at all, so I decided to replace its battery. Unfortunately, the shop keeper said my watch still has full battery, my 20th year-old birthday gift has broken. *sob* I liked my watch, it is small, functional and easy to wear. I though of repairing, but it shouldn’t be cheap. Buying a new watch was my final solution and spent an afternoon shopping for it <3
