Welcome to the workforce
In economics I used to study, definition of a person in workforce is:
Within the workforce, we are divided into two groups, employed and unemployed. Funny thing is, how can the government report unemployment rates per season while the definition of workforce is the "will to work". As a solution, they ASSUME all of us reaching 15, except full time students, are looking for job. (The age differs among regions, of course.)So I believe, unemployment rates are underestimated because many housewives who prefer staying home are counted as part of workforce. Now things change, housewives work part-time or become full time workers, students start earning monies before they finish schools. Nowadays we don't earn money from our main jobs only, side jobs become more common. Google ads pay you if blog visitors give a few clicks. You get pay for developing a good app in iPhone store. This feeling is growing stronger few weeks ago after watching a clip on youtube, the "did you know" series. Cannot imagine what I will be doing eight years later... Pretty sure what we learn in our first year in uni will not be applicable when I graduate. A CE/ VCE report shall be trashed too... ;_;
